Chris Boss has over 30 years’ experience in the architectural and construction industries. Beginning his career in the UK, Chris worked for ten years in construction, specifically on design-build projects, before moving to Aotearoa New Zealand.

Since joining Jasmax in 1996, Chris has gained extensive experience in the management and successful delivery of large-scale, multi-faceted projects across a broad range of sectors.

Chris has been a project architect on significant award-winning projects, including Sovereign House, Air NZ Regional Terminal in Christchurch, ASB Bank’s headquarters at North Wharf, Auckland and the Ernest Rutherford Building, Phase One of the RRSIC Redevelopment project for the University of Canterbury.

Combined with client liaison and consultant coordination, Chris has extensive experience in the facets of developed design, documentation and contract administration. His key strengths lie in project coordination and has in-depth knowledge of construction systems, processes and materials. Chris’ considerable design and technical expertise can be seen in the many buildings he has successfully delivered, meeting and exceeding clients’ functional and aesthetic goals.
