Interior Award Wins 2022
Congratulations to our clients and project teams for their recent success at the Interior Awards. Two Jasmax projects won awards and two talented Jasmax designers were also honoured. Sarah Delamore and Zee Shake Lee both received trophies in recognition of being shortlisted in the competitive Emerging Designer category.
26 Aroha Ave – Multi-Housing Award Winner
The 2022 Interior Awards jury stated: “This build-to-rent, owner-developer project in Auckland’s Sandringham is not only environmentally sustainable but, also, socially and economically sustainable, providing 13 high-quality, affordable apartments for long-term renters. Spaces are light filled, warm and generous, with a celebration of community on the rooftop, where one might normally expect to find an exclusive penthouse. The 10 Homestar rating certified apartments feature textured concrete blockwork for thermal mass, sustainably grown cork flooring and, in a nod to history and connection, reused timber kitchen handles and bathroom benches crafted from the 1920s’ villa that previously occupied the section.”

AUT Te Āhuru Recreation Centre - Healthcare and Wellness Award Winner
The 2022 Interior Awards jury stated: “Off the back of the Covid-19 pandemic, economic uncertainty and global unrest, we are in an age where mental health and well-being are more important than ever before. As such, it is a joy to see a university accept this wero (challenge) and actively stand up and make a difference. This building, dedicated to the health and well-being of its students, offers a place of respite – to breathe, play, have fun and remove the sensory overload faced by so many today. The spaces and materials used throughout create a calm-yet-playful interior to help provide a relaxing, informal, restorative place to balance those precarious moments in life.”
