The 2019 Sydney Festival is now on, and features the collaborative design by Jasmax, Alt Group and the Auckland City Council Public Arts and Culture Team – Moon Drops.

The festival is primarily focused on the arts, and celebrates theatre, dance, circus, music, and the visual arts. The 2019 Festival has taken inspiration from this year's 50th Anniversary of the moon landing, it runs from the 9th to the 27th of January.

In keeping with the ‘Fly me to the Moon’ theme, the Moon Drops team have designed ‘giant waterbeds’ which allow Sydney-siders to leap, bounce and experience feeling of being weightless – and imagine what it could be like walking on the moon.
