The annual New Zealand Architecture Week commences once again on Monday 19 September and the team at Jasmax are excited to be a part of the programme!
The week is a celebration of New Zealand’s architecture; what’s currently in the pipeline, and what the industry has achieved over the last year. The 2016 programme is particularly geared toward the highly topical theme of ‘Housing the Future’. There are a variety of events in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
We’re pleased to open our Wellington and Christchurch Studios, as part of an industry-wide series the NZIA is running to showcase all the different ways each practice works. In our Auckland studio, we’ll be hosting a Professional Design Charrette Competition, and out in the city two of our projects, The Fonterra Centre and ASB North Wharf (in association with BVN Donovan Hill), will feature on the NZGBC / NZIA Green Architecture Walking Tour; which coincides with World Green Building Week.
Finally, we'd like to congratulate our very own Elisapeta Heta of Architecture Women NZ for being selected to chair the very topical event: The Common: Shared Space in Housing.
