Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/ AR) are powerful tools for communicating the scale and potential of design. We're no longer asking people to imagine in 3D, now we can immerse them in a 3D environment. It's potential is limitless!
The NZVRARA (The New Zealand VR/AR Association Inc.) has just released a report ‘Virtual Gets Real’ focussing on current VR/ AR research and development, in particular the role of VR in Architecture.
Jasmax has been a key sector partner in the development of the publication which was commissioned by the NZVRARA and authored by its Chair Michael Gregg, in partnership with the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment (MBIE), NZTech, WREDA, ChristchurchNZ, ATEED and Callaghan Innovation.
The report will be available for download from Friday 20th October 2017 and aims to promote the fast-growing VR/AR/MR sector in New Zealand, and the adoption of these technologies within New Zealand Organisations.
