Property Council Award Winners 2020

Congratulations to our clients and project teams for their success at the 2020 Property Council Rider Levett Bucknall Property Awards, with six Jasmax projects receiving recognition.

Waste Management NZ Ltd’s Auckland Headquarters made a clean sweep, taking out the Supreme Award, Resene Green Building Award, CBRE Industrial Property Award, and RCP Commercial Office Property Award (Excellence).

The accolades kept on coming for the University of Waikato Tauranga Campus, winning the Greenstone Group Education Property Award, to add to its Australasian Learning Environment Award and 2020 New Zealand Architecture Award won earlier this year.

Western Springs College Ngā Puna O Waiōrea; The University of Auckland Faculty of Engineering / Te Herenga Mātai Pūkaha (B405); University of Canterbury: Beatrice Tinsley Building; and Faculty of Dentistry, Graeme and Robyn Hart Building (University of Otago Auckland Dental School) also received awards.

 

Stride Property Limited and the Waste Management NZ Ltd Auckland Headquarters – Supreme Award, Resene Green Building Award, CBRE Industrial Property Award, RCP Commercial Office Property Award (Excellence)

Waste Management New Zealand is setting a new benchmark through a focus on sustainability, innovation, workplace design and a collaborative owner and tenant relationship to lead the way in industrial processing.

The workplace design prioritises culture, health and safety, and employee experience. The project’s success is a testament to the strength of the collaborative owner and tenant relationship, a partnership has that has produced a truly uplifting facility that has benefited all involved in its development.

University of Waikato Tauranga Campus - Greenstone Group Education Property Award

This project is a truly collaborative effort between the University of Waikato, Tauranga City Council, Bay of Plenty Regional Council and Tauranga Energy Consumer Trust, with the support of the Tertiary Education Partnership and Iwi.

Together, they have created an exemplary first stage of this master-planned education precinct, anchored by a new University facility in the centre of a city block that will continue to contribute to improved economic, cultural and social outcomes through improving access to education across the region.
