On Thursday 6 July, Jasmax Principal Shirley Chin joined other community and business leaders sleeping rough in the Lifewise’s annual fundraiser, The Big Sleepout. This year the event aims to raise 350k to help tackle the serious issue of homelessness in Auckland .

On what is looking to be one very cold winter's night , Shirley has chosen to leave her creature comforts behind and be exposed to the elements and gain an insight into what it means to sleep rough. With a goal of raising $2,000, Shirley has surpassed her target with donations currently sitting around $2,800.

Shirley follows in the footsteps of previous Jasmax team members; Meg Rowntree, Richard Harris, Nick Moyes and Marko den Breems to become the fifth Jasmax team member to take to Auckland's streets as part of the big sleepout.

As a proud supporter of the fundraiser, Jasmax are delighted to be in a position to help raise awareness of both The Big Sleepout, and the great work that Lifewise undertake.
