Anna Ryder is an Associate Principal and Project Architect with a comprehensive understanding of complex healthcare and tertiary education environments.

Having worked at Jasmax for over a decade, Anna has led the design of several major healthcare projects, including the University of Otago’s Auckland Dental Clinic located on the Counties Manukau Superclinic site, which provides the community with increased access to affordable dental care.

Anna attributes her expertise in health planning design to her previous work on Tōtara Haumaru for Waitematā DHB, where she led the concept design phase, as well as her role as Project Architect for the innovative Kipling Ave Private Endoscopy and Laparoscopy Centre in Auckland. Anna also worked on the award-winning Burwood Rehabilitation Hospital in Christchurch, a project she believes exemplifies how excellent design can improve and enhance the patient experience.

Prior to joining the Health and Sciences team, Anna worked on the Sir Paul Reeves Building for AUT, which includes one of the most contemporary media teaching and learning spaces in the Southern Hemisphere.

Anna has a reputation for establishing and building excellent relationships with high-performing and collaborative project teams.
