Born and bred in Wellington, Tim is renowned for his sophisticated, stylish approach to architecture as well as his pioneering originality in leadership and management. A practitioner with skills honed on major projects in London and Europe, Tim is now leading Jasmax’s strategic unit: NotYetKnown. He is an award winning international architect, workplace specialist and strategy designer.

Fascinated by both boats and architecture, Tim resolved to study Architecture at Auckland University. On graduating, Tim worked for edgy residential architect Mel Bartleet, before setting off on an overseas adventure.

Initially moving to London, Tim worked for leading London architect Richard Hordern and Associates; leading the construction of the competition-winning project for the prestigious Queen’s Stand at Epsom Racecourse, moving on to lead a number of award winning projects in Europe.

Since returning to New Zealand and joining Jasmax, Tim has established the specialisation of open workplace design in New Zealand. This has re-engineered the way people work through innovative architecture, enabling blue-chip companies such as Westpac, Auckland Airport, BNZ, Fonterra, Vodafone, IAG, Transpower and Kiwibank to re-think and enhance business performance.

A conceptual thinker, now at the helm of NotYetKnown, Tim is seen as a trusted adviser to clients on strategy, and how leading edge design can transform and direct business achievement.
