As Jasmax’s Chief Operating Officer, Sue Marshall is a member of the senior leadership team, working alongside the CEO, Head of Design, and CFO to define, develop, and implement strategy across the practice.
Sue oversees the practice’s day-to-day operations, including Jasmax’s People and Culture team, which focuses on attracting new team members, enhancing the employee experience, safety and wellbeing, and professional development opportunities for staff.
Prior to assuming her role as Chief Operating Officer, Sue led Jasmax’s Knowledge & Innovation (K&I) team, which draws together leading specialists across the areas of contractual and technical delivery, sustainability, technology and digital innovation, and BIM process. The team captures and shares knowledge, investigates, tests and implements new processes and technologies across the business, enabling Jasmax to deliver quality projects for clients consistently. Sue was instrumental in defining and leading the firm’s knowledge and innovation strategy.
Originally from the UK, Sue arrived in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2000, began working at Jasmax soon after and has never looked back. A registered architect, her broad architectural experience spans the transport, heritage, educational and cultural sectors.
