Tim is a Senior Urban Designer, specialising in urban and affordable housing design, design coding, neighbourhood revitalisation, community design facilitation and environmentally sustainable design. He is driven by a commitment to the quality and affordability of housing design. Tim is a member of the Design Panel for Hobsonville Point, authored “Exploring Future Housing Choices” for Christchurch City, researched Homestar cost/benefits for the Auckland Unitary Plan and contributes content to the Auckland Design Manual.
Prior to Jasmax, Tim worked as an architect in a United Kingdom housing company managing 50,000+ units in mixed tenure, and running the United Kingdom’s largest social housing development programme. His work focused on urban intensification, neighbourhood revitalisation, supported housing and ‘green’ specifications (from concept design to construction) and new builds to heritage conservation. Key projects included estate renewal projects in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee, and prefabricated housing product development in partnership with IKEA.
