Te Whau Pathway
Te Whau Pathway is a pedestrian and cycle path following the Whau River linking Auckland’s east and west coasts from Te Atatu to Green Bay. An evocative and memorable form rich in history and symbolism, the 12km greenway provides new commuting and recreation opportunities for West Aucklanders.




The Scheme Design was produced by Jasmax and Monk Mackenzie with Stantec, in consortium, Te Whau Pathway project is a collaborative partnership between Auckland Council, the Whau and Henderson-Massey Local Boards, Auckland Transport, Te Kawerau a Maki, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei and the Whau Coastal Walkway Environmental Trust.
